Description
Telling others about our Tourette Syndrome (TS) isn’t always easy. We often wonder: Should I say something? When is the right time? How should I explain it? And how will the other person react? This interactive workshop explores the dilemmas and decisions surrounding disclosure and offers evidence-informed strategies for communicating about TS in everyday life. Blending social science research with lived experience, it addresses common challenges such as meeting new people, navigating public interactions, and finding language that feels authentic. Participants will engage in guided discussions and reflections to turn research insights into practical, confidence-building strategies for telling others about their TS.
